Existing Google Adsense customers are a perfect match for Google Adwords. In this cross-sell direct mail offer, we wanted to use the holiday timing to deliver some light-hearted temptation to these tech-savvy folks. Given the smart-phone saturation of the audience, we included both a PURL and a QR-code for tracking purposes. This mailer received a high response rate in both the US and Canada and has inspired this business unit to make holiday outreach an ongoing tactic. The mailer received a Gold Tower Award in direct mail from the Chicago Business Marketing Association.
